NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Government
Properties Income Trust (NYSE: GOV) will replace Brightpoint, Inc.
(NASD: CELL) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading
on Monday, October 15. S&P MidCap
400 constituent Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) is acquiring
Brightpoint in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final
approvals.
Government Properties Income Trust is an office real estate
investment trust (REIT). Headquartered in Newton, MA, the company will be added to the
S&P SmallCap 600 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard)
Office REITs Sub-Industry index.
