Graco InSite™ allows contractors to view
activity from multiple proportioners in different locations
Graco Inc. (NYSE:GGG), a leading manufacturer of fluid handling
equipment, introduced Graco InSite™ at the annual convention and
trade show of the Insulation Contractors Association of America
(ICAA) in Tucson, Ariz. Graco InSite allows managers and owners of
spray foam and polyurea application companies to view real-time job
data from multiple jobsites. The data is transmitted from a Graco
Reactor® proportioner via cellular network, and can be viewed on a
smart phone, tablet or computer wherever a wireless connection can
be established. The product is the first of its kind in the
industry.
“Graco InSite is designed to help managers and owners of mid-
and large-sized contracting companies do the impossible: be
everywhere at once,” explained Sara McKeon, Graco product marketing
manager. “With Graco InSite, they can confirm that crews started on
time, verify that spray parameters are being met, see how much
material is being used, troubleshoot, and even verify rig locations
via GPS signal. And they can view it all on a wireless device,
meaning they can do it from virtually anywhere.”
The Graco InSite kit is a small box that attaches easily to the
back of a Graco Reactor. When the Reactor is turned on, the kit
begins transmitting pressure, temperature and volume to the cloud
via a cellular connection. Users can view the information on the
Graco InSite web site.
In addition to transmitting real time data, Graco InSite
collects data from all of the user’s connected jobsites and emails
the user a daily report. The reports can be kept on file and used
as spray parameter documentation if clients or homeowners have
questions.
“The data accessible through Graco InSite can be valuable to
spray contractors as they strive to build their businesses,”
continued McKeon. “It can help owners determine the real costs of
doing business, both in manpower and material, identify waste and
calculate more accurate, competitive bids. In addition, the
wireless reporting gives them the opportunity to tend to off-site
business more freely.”
Graco InSite works with most electric and hydraulic Reactors for
spray foam and polyurea applications. For more information, visit
