Airbus Selects Goodrich for A350 XWB Cabin Attendant Seats

Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) has been selected by Airbus to
provide advanced cabin attendant seats for the new A350 XWB
aircraft. The selection is expected to generate $100 million in
original equipment and aftermarket revenue over the life of the
program. With this new contract, Goodrich cabin attendant seats are
featured on all Airbus aircraft including the A300, A320 A330, A340
and A380 Family aircraft.
The seats will be produced by Goodrich�s Interiors team in
Colorado Springs, Colo. Design and development work will commence
in the second quarter of 2009, and production deliveries are
scheduled to start in the first quarter 2011. The advanced cabin
attendant seats, referred to as �16G� seats, incorporate
improvements in reliability and safety, and meet the most stringent
government regulations for emergency landing protection.
