Bill Mayer joins Comverge from Edison Electric Institute (EEI), where he represented the interests of nearly 200 investor-owned utilities in the U.S. Mayer's position as manager of customer operations gave him national responsibility for a range of transmission, distribution, and customer service issues. Prior to EEI, Mayer spent over 16 years with Florida Power & Light in various positions. A registered professional engineer, Mayer graduated with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida.
