Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
London, England (2 June, 2003) - SurfControl plc (London:SRF, Nasdaq Europe:
SRFC), the world's Number One Web and E-mail filtering company, is pleased to
announce that the Special Resolution to approve the reduction of the Company's
share premium account was approved at an Extraordinary General Meeting held
today.
As explained in the circular sent to shareholders on 6 May 2003, the reduction

Following the passing of this resolution the Company will seek High Court
approval for this proposal. As outlined in the announcement of the Company's
results for the third quarter ending March 31, 2003, the Company expects the
process to be concluded on or before the end of its current fiscal year of June
30, 2003.
