CSK Auto Corp. (NYSE: CAO) Jimmy Cretens Checker, Schucks,
Kragen monster truck, Bounty Hunter, has been getting a lot of
exposure lately, and not just from the competitions that have
qualified Creten for the March 28-29 Monster Jam World Finals in
Las Vegas, Nevada. The Bounty Hunter is now a toy monster truck,
one of eight different toy replicas being given away with Kids
Meals at more than 9,000 Burger King locations in North America,
Europe, Australia, South America, Asia and the Middle East.
Monster truck racing is huge here in America, said Jim
Schoenberger, Vice President of Marketing for CSK Auto. But we
really had no idea it was so popular internationally. Its
impressive that Burger King has recognized the power and popularity
of monster trucks among children and their families. The Burger
King Monster Jam Kids Meal promotion is a full marketing campaign
that started February 11th and ends March 9th. The 2008 Monster Jam
NGK Spark Plugs World Finals feature 24 monster trucks, and all
three of the CSK Auto entries are qualified. Jimmy Cretens Bounty
