CSK Auto, Inc. has announced that registrations are now being accepted for its 2008 online fantasy racing games that follow NASCAR and NHRA Drag Racing. The games are free and can be accessed at www.nhrafantasygame.com and www.ovaltrackingfantasygame.com. "Our customers love NASCAR and NHRA racing," said Jim Schoenberger, Vice President of Marketing for CSK Auto. "And they really like following their favorite sport through our free online fantasy racing games. Our drag racing game is the official fantasy racing game for the NHRA, and our NASCAR game, sponsored by Ovaltracking.com, makes watching the races a whole new experience. The NHRA POWERade Pro game (www.nhrafantasygame.com) follows Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycles. Players select eight racers each week to earn points toward weekly and championship prizes. The NASCAR game, which follows Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Craftsman Truck Series racing (www.ovaltrackingfantasygame.com) lets players select seven drivers each weekend to earn fantasy points. Both games feature a countdown or chase game at the end of the season for major prizes. Players have from February through August to qualify for the playoff game by scoring among the top 10 in points for each fantasy weekend or round. "CSK has always been involved with racing," added Schoenberger. "We are the Official Auto Parts Store of the NHRA and we sponsor Del Worsham in Funny Cars, and Jimmy and Dawn Cretin and Kreg Cristensen in Monster Trucks. Weve been involved with NASCAR since the first Checker Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway in 1988 and we appreciate the relationship between our business and racing." Weekly game prizes include CSK gift cards, hats and t-shirts, while game champions can win free tickets to the 2009 Checker Auto Parts 500 in Phoenix or any 2009 NHRA National Event.
