Constellation Energy Donates Nearly Half-Million Dollars to Port Discovery and Maryland Science Center Grants Will Be Used to Expand Services, Enhance Exhibits BALTIMORE, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Constellation Energy (NYSE:CEG) today announced donations totaling $400,000 to Port Discovery and the Maryland Science Center as part of its ongoing efforts to support educational and economic development initiatives. "One of Constellation Energy's top priorities is a continuing commitment to support the many fine educational organizations located across the country which do so much for so many," said Mayo A. "Port Discovery and the Maryland Science Center are two of the very best Maryland-based organizations, reaching thousands of children each year with their programs. These grants will allow both organizations to enhance their educational exhibits and outreach efforts for the benefit of local residents as well as millions of people who visit Baltimore annually." During the next four years, Constellation Energy will make available $100,000 to the Port Discovery children's museum for use in expanding services, increasing early childhood exhibits and enhancing relationships with social service agencies and community-based organizations in Baltimore. The Maryland Science Center will receive $300,000 over the next three years to support its MSC21/Discover the Wonder campaign, an initiative that will add 40,000 square feet of public space and enhanced exhibits for the more than 500,000 annual visitors to the center.
