George Schweitzer, who has been CBS Corp.'s (CBS) marketing leader since 1994, will have a revised role as Mike Benson joins from Amazon.com Inc.'s (AMZN) Amazon Studios as president and chief marketing officer.

Mr. Schweitzer was named chairman, CBS Marketing, and will continue in that role through the 2019-2020 season and then serve as a special adviser.

Mr. Benson will join CBS in October.
