GreenCell, Inc. (OTCBB: GCLL) announced they have developed a new process for ceramic igniters and successfully produced 2 different units with a third on the way.

By utilizing their UltraTemp-C ceramic materials process, the company has developed conductive compounds they will look to patent in the near future. Ceramic composites are at the forefront of advanced materials technology because of their light weight, high strength and toughness, and high temperature capabilities.

According to BCC Research, the ceramic composites market is approximately $870 million annually, and estimated to reach $1.3 billion by 2015.
