April 29 2014 - 8:56AM
Specialist insurer Beazley (BEZ.L) announces the appointment of
Matt Weindel to the company's private enterprise team, which
focuses on the professional liability needs of small businesses.
Mr. Weindel, a new territory manager based in the company's San
Francisco office, is responsible for building broker relationships
in the Western region of the United States. This brings the number
of territory managers to five, all of whom are responsible for
uncovering new business opportunities by strengthening partnerships
with the company's key brokers. Mr. Weindel comes to Beazley after
working for the NSM Insurance Group in Walnut Creek, CA as a branch
manager. Before that, he was an underwriter and product leader for
USLI for six years in the company's non-profit products group. "Our
goal has been to identify highly experienced individuals to serve
as territory managers in key cities across the country," James
Eaton, global head of Beazley's private enterprise team. "Matt
Weindel is very much in the mold of high caliber individuals that
we have been looking to recruit. I am confident he will help
us provide a high level of broker service in the western region of
the US." The private enterprise team comprises underwriters, claims
professionals, and territory managers focusing on the needs of
small businesses with assets of up to $35 million and up to 500
employees.
