granted U.S. Patent No. 7,117,358 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office. The new patent, titled �Method and system for filtering
communication,� describes an email relay that filters messages
coming into an email network by comparing attributes of the
messages to data derived from spam messages, stored in a spam
database. The new patent is a continuation-in-part of U.S. Patent
No. 6,609,196, the provisional application for which was filed on
July 24, 1997. Tumbleweed's patent portfolio includes 24 granted
