Sevcon, Inc. (Nasdaq:SEV) today announced that it has rescheduled the release of its financial results for the second quarter ended April 2, 2016 to take place after the market close on Monday, May 16, 2016.  Sevcon will host a conference call to discuss the results on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. ET.

The Company is rescheduling the conference call to coincide with the filing of its Form 10-Q with the SEC expected to occur on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.  This will enable a more comprehensive discussion about a recent development contract win.  President and Chief Executive Officer Matt Boyle and Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Paul Farquhar will host the call.
