These new components will allow developers to increase the efficiency of data access in Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments by significantly reducing memory requirements and increasing performance. The new version of HydraSDO for XML 1.1 offers Distributed SDO, which provides an extremely efficient, standards-based architecture for sharing XML documents between applications on different computers without reparsing. HydraSDO for XML 1.1 allows for parsing speeds of up to ten times faster and a memory footprint one-third that of other popular parsers according to Rogue Wave Software research and testing.
