DAYTON, Ohio, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MTC Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:MTCT), an industry-recognized provider of aircraft modernization and sustainment, professional services, C4ISR, and logistics solutions to the Department of Defense and national security agencies, announced that the company's subsidiary, Aerospace Integration Corporation (AIC), was awarded $7.8 million to modify ARC-231 Radios for CH-47, MC-130, and AC-130 fixed wing aircraft; a potential $3.2 million will be added later for radio installation tasks. Another $2 million has been awarded for a variety of engineering, integration, and modification tasks for military fixed- and rotary-wing platforms. The work will be accomplished at AIC's Crestview, Florida and Albertville, Alabama hangar facilities.
