Limestone Bank, Inc. (“the Bank”), a Louisville, Kentucky-based
bank wholly-owned by Limestone Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: LMST),
announces yet another milestone in its continued efforts to
increase customer access to products and services.
Earlier this month, the Bank celebrated the grand opening of a
brand-new banking center in downtown Lexington, Ky. centrally
located at 130 W. Main Street, among a number of new restaurants
and businesses which now make up a completely revitalized Lexington
City Center. The addition of this new banking center, the second in
Fayette County for the Bank, brings the total number of banking
centers to 20. The Bank also announced today that beginning next
month it will be re-opening lobby services at an existing banking
center located along the I-65 corridor in Horse Cave, Ky., which
will now provide customers with two full-service banking centers
within Hart County.
These announcements are among a series of recent efforts made by
the Bank to increase access for customers— not the least of which
was the acquisition of four banking centers in the counties of
Franklin, Hardin, and Daviess, at the end of last year. Specific
details about the acquisition and related financial information can
be found in the fourth quarter earnings release, published January
23, 2020.
In a recent internal communication to Bank associates, president
and chief executive officer John T. Taylor reiterated the Bank’s
“commitment to the communities we serve” and the need for an
organization to “continue to evolve in order to effectively meet
the evolving needs of its customers.”
