ICOP Digital, Inc., (NASDAQ: ICOP), an industry-leading company engaged in advancing digital surveillance technology solutions, today announced the launch of its new "DP2 Integration" product, which uniquely enables the importation and management of stored video files from a former ICOP competitor's system, into ICOP iVAULT MMS™ enterprise-level backend software. The ICOP iVAULT MMS backend software provides a single point of access and storage for both DP2 and ICOP video events, and facilitates a smooth migration process as police departments upgrade their digital in-car video units.

The DP2 Integration product was introduced to the market in October, at the 117th Annual International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference in Orlando, Florida, the largest law enforcement show in the world. ICOP is promoting this product to police departments across the country, representing over 12,000 deployed units.

"This new capability is unique in that the files imported from DP2 backend software, into ICOP iVAULT MMS are searchable across metadata and filenames, maintaining the original information from DP2 legacy systems in one database," said Laura Owen, President and Chief Operating Officer at ICOP. "We are educating police departments that have these legacy systems on the benefits of this unique product, to help them manage their legacy video files in one backend system, and to help facilitate a smooth and seamless migration path to state-of-the-art ICOP systems, when they are ready to upgrade their mobile video units."
