EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Amendment No. 1 amends the Firstbank Corporation Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, filed on August 7, 2009 (the “Original Filing”). No other changes or updates are being made to the Original Filing. There are no changes to the financial results reported in the Original Filing.
