Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a leading provider of
enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and

next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution Epicor
9 has garnered recent industry award honors in Germany and Poland.
The Center for Enterprise Research (CER) and ERP Management
magazine in Germany named Epicor 9 "ERP System of the Year." Award
entries were judged by a committee comprised of impartial
consultants and representatives from science and the trade press;
under the chairmanship of Professor Norbert Gronau, judges chose
the winners after a two-stage selection process. Epicor 9 was
deemed particularly innovative, as according to Gronau, "of the 27
companies participating in the competition, the judges considered
Epicor's solutions to be the most promising in terms of ergonomics,
integration capabilities and system architecture."
The Business Forum, sponsored by the Ministry of Regional
Development and the FIRE Innovation Center in Poland named Epicor 9
as "Innovation of the Year" for 2009. The goal of the "Innovation
of the Year" competition -- a nation-wide program aimed at
promoting and encouraging the development of innovative
technologies -- is to award projects, solutions, products and
technologies that are unique and demonstrate innovation.
"We are truly honored to be recognized by these two prestigious
award programs," said George Klaus, chairman, president and CEO for
Epicor. "Being named 'Innovation of the Year' and 'ERP System of
the Year' is testament to our innovative approach and delivery of a
truly collaborative and dynamic enterprise business application
experience to our customers."
These latest awards build on growing global momentum for Epicor

business software solution built on a second-generation
service-oriented architecture (SOA) include, "Best Recommended ERP
