Advanced Digital Information Corporation (NASDAQ:ADIC) today
announced that on June 5, 2006, Quantum Corporation (NYSE:DSS),
with the concurrence of Advanced Digital Information Corporation,
withdrew and resubmitted its application with the U.S. Federal
Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice for approval
required under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Act of 1976 (HSR) of
the proposed merger of ADIC with Quantum announced on May 2, 2006.
The withdrawal and resubmission has the effect of restarting the
30-day waiting period provided under HSR for review of the proposed
