Orange, Engie to Develop Renewable Projects in France

Orange said Monday that it has signed a 15-year power purchase
agreement with Engie SA, that covers two solar projects totaling 51
megawatt peak in southern France.
The French telecommunications company said the solar farms,
located in L'Epine and Ribeyret, will be operational by Jan. 1,
2023 at the latest.
Orange plans to cut 30% of its direct carbon-dioxide emissions
by 2025 compared with 2015 levels and have an electricity mix made
up of 50% of renewable energy, it said.
