PNG Government: PNG LNG Partners Have Sanctioned Project

Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) and its partners have officially signed
off on the construction of a US$15 billion liquefied natural gas
project in Papua New Guinea, a spokeswoman for the Papua New
Guinean government said Tuesday.
A signing ceremony is underway and a formal statement will be
issued by the Papuan New Guinean government after the ceremony's
completion, the spokeswoman said.
Other partners in the PNG LNG project include Oil Search Ltd.
(OSH.AU) and Santos Ltd. (STO.AU).
