The Form 11-K which is the subject of this 12b-25 extension is being filed in order to report the information required of the Volt Information Sciences, Inc. Savings Plan (the “Plan”). The Plan is unable to complete the preparation, audit and filing of the Form 11-K within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort or expense due to unanticipated delays in the commencement of the Plan's financial statement audit, and the resulting change in the Plan's Independent Registered Public Accounting Firm.
