Change of Directorate
Ultra Electronics today announces that Sir Frank Holroyd will be retiring from
the Board at the end of July 2003. Sir Frank was appointed to the Board of
Ultra in March 1995 having served 35 years with the Royal Air Force, latterly as
Chief of Logistics and Chief Engineer with the rank of Air Marshal. On Ultra's
Board, Sir Frank chaired the Remuneration Committee and was a member of the
Audit Committee.
Peter Macfarlane, Chairman, commented:
"On behalf of the Board I would like to wish Sir Frank all the best for the
future. He was part of the team that has guided Ultra through a number of key
milestones in the development of the Group including the successful flotation in
1996. He has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to Ultra and we have
always valued his contribution to Board discussions."

processing and distribution; airport and airline information management systems;
passenger baggage reconciliation systems; ID card systems; naval power
