DSL.net, Inc. (AMEX: BIZ), a leading nationwide provider of
broadband communications services to businesses, today announced
that it has been independently recognized as the 14th fastest
growing technology company in Connecticut as part of a statewide
Technology Fast 50 program organized by Deloitte and the
Connecticut Technology Council. The rankings are based on
percentage of revenue growth over a five-year period (2000 to
2004). During that time, DSL.net revenue increased by approximately
285%. DSL.net was founded in 1998. The Company received its award
at a reception late last year hosted by Deloitte and the Council at
Fairfield University. It is the second consecutive year that
DSL.net has been ranked among the state's 50 fastest growing
technology companies. It is only the second year that the Company
has been eligible for the five-year ranking period. DSL.net was
named a Deloitte "Rising Star" in both 2002 and 2003. "We are again
honored to be recognized by Deloitte and the Council as one of the
state's fastest growing technology companies," said David F.
Struwas, president and chief executive officer of DSL.net. "This
kind of award, together with being named again last year to the
Network World 200 list of top communications and networking
companies, is further evidence of the hard work and determination
of our employees and the loyalty of our customers." Alex Discepolo,
a director of Deloitte Tax LLP and chairperson of the Connecticut
Technology Fast 50, stated that the Fast 50 companies "have shown
the strength, vision and creativity to succeed in today's very
competitive technology environment. We applaud the successes of
DSL.net and acknowledge it as one of the very few" to again be
included among the state's Elite Fast 50 list. For the second
consecutive year, DSL.net also was listed among the prestigious
Deloitte Technology Fast 500 rankings for 2005 that include
companies throughout North America. DSL.net was ranked 439th on the
list. About Connecticut Technology Council The Connecticut
