After a successful NASCAR promotion at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kwan International, a global marketing and media company located at Speedway Commerce Center (Las Vegas Motor Speedway), will once again stage a diverse promotion during the upcoming NHRA weekend (Mar. 30-Apr. 1) in Las Vegas that will integrate motorsports, boxing and poker. Kwan International's premise is home to a boxing ring, a drag boat, motocross bikes and poker tables -- all of the tangibles in owner Christina Kwan's collection of diverse involvements. She is a former U.S. National and World Amateur Boxing Champion. Her boxing ring is a billboard graced with automotive companies while serving as her training ground for her return to boxing. After a five year absence, the accomplished businesswoman says, "I have unfinished business in the ring."

Most who meet the 100-pound Kwan are intrigued by her boxing background; yet another surprise is the Challenger Jet Boat sitting adjacent to the ring. Kwan was integral in its restoration and engine build from the ground up. She will be the driver. Capable of 1,300 horsepower with the addition of nitrous, its gel-coated Viper red canvas is prime real estate. "Motorsports is a huge part of my company. My experiences in working with the NHRA (Nitro Funny Car) and SEMA organizations greatly enhance my relationships within the automotive and racing industry," Kwan says. "I didn't build this boat for recreation. I built it to win a national bracket title."

Kwan says, "Race fans are individuals with vast interests who happen to share at least one common bond: motorsports.
