WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bunge Limited (NYSE: BG) announced today that the underwriters of its previously announced public offering of 10,500,000 common shares have exercised in full their over-allotment option to purchase an additional 1,500,000 common shares at the public offering price of $65.50 per share, less the applicable underwriting discount. The offering, including the issuance of the over-allotment shares, is expected to close on August 18, 2009. As a result of the exercise of the over-allotment option, Bunge expects to receive aggregate net proceeds of approximately $760 million from the offering. Bunge intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay indebtedness and for other general corporate purposes. Morgan Stanley & Co.
