COMPLETION OF DEMERGER

Following the approval by the shareholders of IMS Group PLC of the demerger of
Teamtalk.com Limited on 31 March 2000, the demerger was completed at 7.45am
today and shares in Teamtalk.com Group plc commenced trading on the London
Stock Exchange at 8.00am today under the code TMT.L.  Shares in IMS Group PLC
will continue to trade independently on the Official List of the London Stock
Exchange.
