Application for Admission of Ordinary Shares and update on Total Voting Rights

Applications have been made to the UKLA and London Stock Exchange for 135,364
Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each to be  admitted to the Official List and to
trading on the London Stock Exchange's market. The shares for which application
is  now being made are being issued as deferred consideration for the
acquisition of Applied Electronic Systems Inc. on 13  December 2005. Dealing is
expected to commence on 6 June 2007.

Following this issue the total voting rights in Sondex plc will be 56,948,846.
This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in,
or a change to their interest in, Sondex PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
