South African Property Opportunities plc ("the Company")

Re: Result of Extraordinary General Meeting


The Company announces that at the Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier
today, shareholders approved the resolution to increase the authorised share
capital in order to facilitate the issue of new ordinary shares under the
placing, details of which were announced on 1 May 2007.


Accordingly, 32,292,810 new ordinary shares are to be allotted today under the
Placing, which has raised #33.5 million new funds for the Company, after
expenses. It is expected that admission of such new ordinary shares to trading
on AIM, and to listing and trading on the CISX will commence on 22 May 2007.
