Winning Brands Corporation (PINKSHEETS: WNBD) (FRANKFURT: WMU)
(www.WinningBrandsCorporation.com) reports that it has been
approved for a double page spread in the official NASCAR Annual for
2009 called RacingOne for the purpose of unveiling availability of
Winning Colours Stain Remover in stores with National Account
stature. NASCAR has over 75 million fans and attendance at premier
NASCAR events averages 190,000. Total track capacity exceeds 4
million in stadium seating at these sell-out events. With multiple
events per track and additional non-stadium attendance, the actual
number of fans attending these events for the season far exceeds 4
million. RacingOne is NASCAR's official souvenir publication sold
at all 55 NASCAR events beginning at the DAYTONA 500 in February
and ending in November at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. The
publication will also be available nationwide via major bookstores,
newsstands, grocery stores, retail outlets and airports -- all
adding up to significant distribution numbers for the publication
during the year.
Winning Brands has chosen the NASCAR venue in which to lay the
foundation of a national marketing program for Winning Colours
Stain Remover in the USA. The company's breakthrough stain removing
product Winning Colours will become available at an increasing
number of U.S. locations during 2009, including its first banner(s)
of "National Account" stature on a basis presently under
development. The mechanism of national print advertising combined
with new interactive elements of the Winning Brands website that
will be geared to the NASCAR fan by publication date and will give
Winning Brands unprecedented reach and flexibility to communicate
the latest developments to consumers.
Winning Brands CEO Eric Lehner explains what is meant by
"National Account" for the launch. "There are buying groups and
distributors that supply independent stores across the country, and
we have been honoured to be taken into these increasingly. However
there are also banners that have stores across the country sharing
a national name, known by most Americans. When a retailer is known
by most people in the country by one name, we consider that a
'National Account.' Such accounts are increasingly interested in
Winning Colours Stain Remover for its merits because they
understand that their customers will want to find leading products
in their stores. It's obvious now that Winning Colours Stain
Remover has what it takes to become a leader -- even to become
America's favourite stain removing product. National accounts have
longer internal time lines and processes to select products,
formalize approvals and put new listings into operation because of
their vast size. By creating this web-based interactive platform
for the launch which combines a national publication with a
modified website that will be relevant to NASCAR fans we can
accommodate emerging national account partnerships in a manner that
suits their situations while still respecting our determination to
get going with the launch of Winning Colours Stain Remover in a big
way. NASCAR is a marketing environment well understood by our
prospective banner partners and will suit their interests
perfectly. This solution will let the whole situation come together
nicely; it will let early participants benefit early and later
participants benefit later."
Winning Colours Stain Remover is new on the scene in the United
States, but better known in Canada where it was developed. In
Canada, it is already available in national banners such as The
Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire and Home Hardware. Consumers
consider Winning Colours unusual for its extraordinary gentleness
to skin and delicate surfaces like clothing, carpeting &
upholstery while still being strong as a solvent in tackling
grease, grime and gunk of various kinds. Winning Brands Senior V.P.
Lorne Kelly notes that in demonstrations across the USA people are
impressed with the distinctive properties of Winning Colours Stain
Remover. "It's fun to show and work with because it's a bit unusual
-- you can't' really pigeonhole it. In Canada it has taken time for
awareness to spread through word of mouth, but that's changing now
with television and radio giving it a much higher profile. In the
USA, we are voting for NASCAR as the premier starting point to
speak with a national voice because NASCAR is unique in all the
world for its reach. The 2009 Official RacingOne Annual is the
first step. By the way, every vehicle detailing team in America
should have some Winning Colours Stain Remover too!" Kelly adds
enthusiastically.
