eHydrogen Solutions, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: EHYD) announced today that its advanced Hydrogen Vehicle Fuelling Module (H2VFM), in its Hydrogen Fuelling Station configuration, would enhance the recently announced Hydrogen Fuel Cell taxi being built by Lotus for the London Taxi system.

This is the first hydrogen-powered London cab, developed to showcase zero exhaust emission vehicles during the 2012 London Olympics. The point of all this is to create a car with zero emissions; or rather, the taxi does not have an exhaust pipe as it only emits water vapours.

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, wants every taxi operating in London to deliver zero exhaust emissions by 2020 and will showcase its progress with a number of hydrogen fuel cell taxis in London, served by six hydrogen filling stations that they will share with at least five hydrogen fuel cell buses.

The taxi has been put together by Lotus, a UK company more famous for its Formula 1 team and for making sports cars such as the Elise. This project is in addition to the recently announced Hydrogen On Site Trials (HOST) in which DHL Supply Chain and London Stansted Airport have both signed agreements to participate.

While the vehicle meets the zero emission criteria for on-road exhaust, there still exists the problem of producing hydrogen for refuelling in a cost effective, emission free manner.

The Company's H2VFM provides the solution; hydrogen on demand, virtually emission free, not only to as the main production on-site, on-demand source of hydrogen fuel for a variety of Hydrogen Fuelling Stations applications, but for on-board fuel production for both Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles (HFCV) and Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles (HICEV).

This has important potential implications, since hydrogen can be produced on-site, on demand, in a sustainable manner, at little cost using virtually no outside energy sources; utilizing only reactive metals (and/or the sun) and water; and not requiring costly transportation or storage.

Pike Research, a market research and consulting firm that provides in-depth analysis of global clean technology markets, predicts that fuel cell vehicles (FCV) will be commercially launched in most regions of the world by 2014, and cumulative sales of fuel cell cars and trucks will surpass 2.8 million vehicles globally by 2020. With substantial support from the largest automakers, the pressure is on to make sure that hydrogen fueling stations are available to support this emerging market.

Additionally, the CleanTech market intelligence firm forecasts global revenues for stationary fuel cells will more than double over the next few years, from $336 million in 2009 to $716 million in 2013.

The addition of this $400 million market, together with the addition of solutions for Hydrogen Fueling stations and on-board fuel sources for HFCV and HICEV, has significantly increased the Company's revenue projections and expected portfolio valuation.

As a result of recent acquisitions and development progress in its core ODHP technologies, eHydrogen Solutions (eHs) stands in the forefront as a design leader in hydrogen technologies and solutions in the most cost effective, environmentally friendly and sustainable manner possible for integration in to a wide variety of clean energy solutions.

The distributed and localized production of hydrogen through energy efficient and cost-effective methods creates the economic basis for hydrogen driven economy. The Company is poised to capture this worldwide burgeoning market.

The company will continue advancing the development of its current technologies and distribution power solutions, specifically its Home Heating, H-Solaris and H2-Reactor initiatives, and will continue its aggressive collaboration and acquisition strategy as it relates to advances in core ODHP technologies.

The Company believes its acquisition and growth-oriented business plan will provide stockholders with consistent equity growth and access to the multi-billion dollar alternative energy industry through its licensing and distribution of hydrogen-powered energy systems and solutions.
