Aflac Donates $100,000 to United Way Von Maur Victims Fund

Contribution to Benefit Victims of Omaha Mall Shootings COLUMBUS,
Ga., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Aflac announced today that the company
will contribute $100,000 to the United Way of the Midlands Von Maur
Victims Fund. The fund was established to assist the victims of the
shootings at the Westroads Mall in Omaha on December 5, 2007. "Our
hearts go out to everyone who has been touched by this tragic
shooting," said Dan Amos, Aflac chairman and chief executive
officer. "We are committed to Omaha and want to do our part to help
this community that has supported our business over the years." "At
such a difficult time, communities must come together to cope, and
