StarTek, Inc. (NYSE:SRT), a leading provider of business process management services, has announced plans to open two new customer care facilities in Canada. The facilities will be located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and Hawkesbury, Ontario, and are expected to be operational in April 2006. The company currently has four other Ontario-based call centers in Kingston, Cornwall, and Sarnia. The Thunder Bay and Hawkesbury facilities will operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week and are expected to bring approximately 450 new jobs to each community. The hiring of new associates for the two facilities is expected to commence within the next 30 days.
