The Standard Promotes Dawn McMaster to Vice President, Individual Disability Insurance

Standard Insurance Company ("The Standard"), a subsidiary of
StanCorp Financial Group, Inc., has promoted Dawn McMaster to vice
president of Individual Disability Insurance.

McMaster will continue to lead the Individual Disability
Insurance division with oversight of the actuarial, underwriting,
operations and sales functions. She has been assistant vice
president of Individual Disability Insurance since 2010.

business, for caring deeply about our customers and for leading a
team in achieving excellent results. We are very pleased to

Individual Disability Insurance and Corporate Marketing &
Communications.
McMaster joined The Standard in 1995 as a sales and marketing
manager in the Individual Disability Insurance division.
Previously, she’s held roles as director of Individual Sales and
Marketing, director of Individual Insurance Operations and second
vice president of Individual Insurance Operations and
Underwriting.
McMaster earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human services
from the University of Phoenix and has completed financial analysis
coursework through the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of
Business.
McMaster is active in a variety of volunteer and charitable
organizations. She serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Aid,
has volunteered at Friendly House Community Center and has spent
more than 300 hours working with elementary school children.
