that elves from its popular online ElfYourself campaign – the most
loved viral holiday website in history – will escort a candy train
float through the Chicago McDonald's Thanksgiving Parade. Forty OfficeMax ElfYourself
elves will march and dance their way down State Street this
November 22nd, wishing the
nearly 500,000 street-side spectators and millions more watching at
home a happy holiday season. While on the parade route, the elves
will distribute winter survival kits featuring cold-weather
essentials such as lip balm, hand warmers and hot chocolate mix,
and also invite spectators to enjoy OfficeMax's online and in-store
deals this holiday season.
With a focus on fun and holiday cheer, OfficeMax offered its
associates the opportunity to star as the ElfYourself elves in the
parade.
