(NYSE:GEG), a leading design, engineering and fabrication firm providing a broad array of equipment and services to diversified global companies engaged in the power and process industries, today announced the appointment of Mike Hanson to Chief Accounting Officer, effective March 24, 2006. In this newly created position, Mr. Hanson will be responsible for leading and managing all accounting functions globally for Global Power.
