General Growth Properties Launches Real Simple's ''Festival of Giving'' Presented by Cotton Incorporated

General Growth Properties (NYSE:GGP), the nation's second largest
owner, developer and manager of shopping malls announced today Real
Simple and Cotton Incorporated will serve as partners in General
Growth's nationwide Real Simple's Festival of Giving slated for
November and December. The annual event helps raise money for local
non-profit organizations. More than 105 General Growth malls in 38
states will participate. "The partnership with Real Simple and
Cotton Incorporated allows GGP to deliver our vision - 'People
Creating Special Places and Experiences' - during the busiest
shopping season of the year," said John Bucksbaum, chief executive
officer of General Growth Properties. "This is an example of how
GGP malls are not like all the rest; we're creating more than
shopping destinations, we're creating special places." Real
Simple's Festival of Giving presented by Cotton Incorporated is a
one-night event where shoppers pay between $5 and $10 for an
evening of private shopping and entertainment. Tickets are sold by
participating charities who will keep 100% of the proceeds. Real
Simple and Cotton Incorporated will provide each mall with
complimentary gift wrapping, gifts with purchase, discounts on
selected items and much more. "Last year we partnered with GGP at
10 malls for Festival of Giving and the results were phenomenal. We
are thrilled to bring this special event to many more malls this
year, making the hectic holiday season easier for shoppers," said

Incorporated will donate a $15 mall gift card to shoppers who
purchase $100 in cotton merchandise during the event. "A giving
