•    Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) reported Q2 EPS of $1.26, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.11 per share. Revenues for the quarter rose 48% to $789 million

•    Shares of truck transmission maker Eaton Corp (NYSE:ETN) gained 2.80% after the company posted  better than expected earnings results citing an improved truck market in the U.S.

•    CNH Global N.V.’s (NYSE:CNH) shares jumped 11.35% after the company declared better than expected earnings figures for the ninth straight quarter. CNH also increased its revenue growth outlook for the fiscal

•    Online education company Bridgepoint Education, Inc.'s (NYSE:BPI) shares plunged 11.44% after it disclosed in a regulatory filing that the company's biggest shareholder Warburg Pincus is planning to sell its entire stake of around 35 million shares

•    Analysts at BMO Capital downgraded shares of Revlon (NYSE:REV) to "Market Perform" rating from "Outperform" rating setting a target price of $21.00 on the stock

•    Shares of Edwards Lifesciences Corp (NYSE:EW) were downgraded by Rodman & Renshaw to "Underperform" rating from a “Market perform” rating with a target price of $66.00 on the stock

•    Analysts at Merriman Curhan Ford downgraded Ballantyne Strong, Inc. (AMEX:BTN) to "Neutral" rating from "Buy" rating

•    Shares of Helmerich & Payne (NYSE:HP) were downgraded by Duncan Williams from  “Buy” rating to “Reduce” rating with a revised target price of $72.00 on the stock
