Cousins Properties Incorporated (NYSE: CUZ) announced today its Board of Directors has elected Daniel M. DuPree President and Chief Operating Officer effective immediately. DuPree has served as Vice Chairman of the Company since March 2003, when he rejoined Cousins after serving as CEO of Atlanta-based Barry Real Estate Cos. He will continue to oversee the Company�s real estate development operations and will also continue to report to Chairman and CEO Tom Bell. Prior to joining Barry in 2002, DuPree was with Cousins for more than nine years, beginning in 1992, in multiple capacities including Senior Vice President, Senior Executive Vice President and President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to coming to Cousins, he was President of New Market Companies, Inc., a retail development and management company acquired by Cousins in 1992. �For nearly 15 years, Dan has had a tremendous impact on the creativity, culture and overall success of this company.
