today announced plans to launch an automated caller location and
verification technology that will significantly enhance the
roadside experience of customers on the road. The launch is
planned for mid-December.
Utilizing real-time location data obtained automatically from
either a landline or mobile telephone, AT&T Location
Information Services utilizing TechnoCom's Location Platform™ will,
with the driver's permission, enable call center representatives at
Allstate Roadside Services to identify and immediately communicate
a disabled vehicle's location to service representatives and
providers and allow for faster, more efficient response times. By
integrating this technology with an industry-leading dispatch
process, Allstate is positioned to better optimize the customer
experience.

The AT&T Location Information Services platform allows
