APCO International Conference and Expo taking place in
Philadelphia, August 7-10. The company also will demonstrate the

Speaking in the session titled “Preparing for Tomorrow’s
Technology: The New, Expanded Role of Recording in a
Next-Generation 9-1-1 World” will be Verint’s Bill Pryor, director
of public safety. The presentation--scheduled for 1:30 p.m. ET on
Monday, August 8--will explore the Next-Generation 9-1-1 world and
how voice, data and video recording solutions are taking an
expanded role across today’s emergency services and public safety
answering point (PSAP) environments. In addition to hearing best
practices and use case examples, attendees will learn about new
tools available to assist in training and quality management, and
how speech analytics software is helping agencies gather actionable
