UMB Bank (Nasdaq:UMBF) and its ATM operations management partner, eFunds Corporation (NYSE:EFD), have activated ATMs in 60 Walgreens stores in Oklahoma, including 28 stores in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and 23 in the Tulsa metro. ATMs are also active in Walgreens stores in Enid, Ponca City, Stillwater, Miami, Bartlesville, Lawton, Ardmore, Duncan and Weatherford. "This agreement strengthens our position in Oklahoma and is a sign of a commitment to extend the reach and presence of UMB," said Royce Hammons, chairman, president and CEO of UMB Bank Oklahoma. "We have essentially given customers 60 new locations to handle their banking needs and we believe they will be pleased with the added convenience." The entire contract agreement between UMB and Walgreens involves ATM installations in 307 stores in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma and Colorado. The expansion represents a 62.5 percent increase in ATM locations for UMB in the central United States.
