Steel Enclosure Provides Convenient, Secure Housing for Wireless Networking Equipment

PCTEL, Inc. The enclosure installs easily into drop-tile ceilings, providing a secure, aesthetically pleasing solution for in-building WiFi coverage.

As in-building wireless data consumption explodes, offices, hotels, educational facilities, and other buildings must provide high-speed WiFi coverage. Ceiling tile access points are a convenient, unobtrusive solution. However, without the proper enclosure, radio equipment can be difficult to maintain and vulnerable to tampering. PCTEL’s steel, hinged-door enclosure design provides both enhanced security and convenient access for authorized personnel. It is a drop-in replacement for most standard 2’ x 2’ suspended ceiling tile systems and also fits 2’ x 4’ tiles with only minor trimming.

Powder-coated white to match most ceiling tiles, the SP-RCT-004-225 is attractive and versatile. It features a custom mounting plate for the AP-225.
