Motor Cargo Drivers Claim Idaho Championship Awards BOISE, Idaho, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Motor Cargo's Jack Blanton, a Boise- based road driver, captured first-place honors at the Idaho Truck Driving Championships held here. Blanton, who has driven for Motor Cargo for two years, took the winner's trophy in the tanker division competition this past weekend. The victory earned Blanton a trip to Tampa, Fla., in August, where he will compete with other state titleholders from across the country in the 2005 National Truck Driving Championships. Also delivering a strong performance at the Idaho championships this weekend was Motor Cargo driver Kevin Powell who took third place in the twin division at the state championships. In all, 14 Motor Cargo drivers competed at this year's state driving championship. In addition to negotiating the competition course, all participants are rated on their driving skills and scored on a written test and personal interview.
