Serial Entrepreneur strengthens Accel's depth in Software and Data Center Infrastructure PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Accel Partners, a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm, today announced the addition of In Sik Rhee to their Palo Alto office as a Venture Partner. In Sik brings significant entrepreneurial experience and deep knowledge in the software and enterprise markets. In Sik previously co-founded two successful startup companies. He was most recently a Co-Founder and Chief Tactician at Opsware (NASDAQ:OPSW), formerly Loudcloud, which recently announced its intention to be acquired by HP for $1.6 billion. In this role, he helped guide the evolution of the data center automation product category and also spearheaded several successful acquisitions such as Rendition Networks. Prior to Opsware, In Sik co-founded Kiva Software Corporation, a pioneer of the J2EE Application Server market. He architected and developed one of industry's first Java application servers, deployed by customers such as E*Trade and Bank of America. Kiva was acquired by Netscape Communications in 1997.
