The first phase of the project consisting of 41 MICROS workstations, 25 Mobile MICROS handheld terminals, and 6 self-service kiosks is currently in progress at the casino's grand opening on November 14, 2006. Mohegan Sun, a long-time user of MICROS products, is making history as the first casino to open in Pennsylvania. By implementing MICROS 9700 HMS, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is able to expand on its current infrastructure and scale the MICROS system to its full capacity.
