Converting from MICROS 8700 to MICROS 9700, Princess Cruises conducted a thorough evaluation of the new technology prior to deployment. MICROS performed a seamless conversion while migrating all of Princess' MICROS 8700 custom scripts, resulting in the preservation of functionality for the 3 ships upgraded, Dawn Princess, Regal Princess, and the Pacific Star, a ship in the P&O Cruises Australia fleet, a sister company to Princess Cruises, also supported by Princess' IT Department.
