In his new role, Siegfried will lead the engineering organization of the company and define, build and support all online and account management systems, as well as manage ongoing local-search R&D. He will report directly to the company's COO, Bruce Crair. Siegfried brings over 25 years of experience in development, product and operational experience to the management team. Most recently, he was COO at Future Trade, a web-based electronic stock broker where he was responsible for engineering, QA, product management, operations and IT. Previously, he was vice president of technology at DHL Worldwide Express, where he was responsible for building their U.S. domestic business, including the integration of Airborne Express after its acquisition in 2003. Before DHL, he spent nine years at Instinet where he served as senior vice president of global client and technology services and managed their IT and client services organizations. "Local search is a rapidly evolving market and I am excited about the challenges and opportunities to help Interchange create and deliver new Local.com products and services," Siegfried said. "We have several products and continual system enhancements under development and Lee's role is to ensure that our technology platform supports our growth plans," said Crair.
