U.S. Hot Stocks: Hot Stocks to Watch

Among the companies with shares expected to trade actively in
Tuesday's session are Home Depot Inc. (HD), Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN)
and Children's Place Inc. (PLCE).
Home Depot on Tuesday continued to buck larger retail trends in
reporting earnings well above expectations on strong sales amid a
more favorable marcoeconomic environment. Shares fell 0.69% to
$134.40 in premarket trading.
Amazon.com Inc. on Tuesday expanded its restaurant delivery
business to include more than 350 local restaurants in New York
City, introducing the service to the nation's largest city. Shares
fell 0.21% to $709.17 premarket.
Children's Place raised its profit outlook for the year, as the
children's clothing retailer reported better-than-expected profit
in the latest quarter. Shares rose 6.6% to $72.73 premarket.
Francesca's Holdings Corp. (FRAN) said Chief Executive and
Chairman Michael Barnes resigned for personal reasons Tuesday, and
the boutique retailer also said it expected first-quarter earnings
to land at the bottom of its forecast. Shares fell 22.2% to $11.60
premarket.
TJX Cos. (TJX), the parent of T.J. Maxx and other off-price
retail stores, said its earnings rose 7.1% in the latest quarter as
strong customer traffic continued to drive sales growth. Shares
rose 4.1% to $78.26 premarket.
Following the forced resignation of its chief executive and
founder last week, LendingClub Corp. (LC) on Monday revealed a
Justice Department investigation and unveiled a potential dramatic
shift in its business model. Shares fell 11.17% to $3.51
premarket.
Agilent Technologies Inc. (A) on Monday reported
better-than-expected results for the latest quarter, as revenue
rose across divisions.
Activist investment firm Corvex Management LP, which on Monday
disclosed a stake in Pandora Inc. (P), called for the Internet
radio company to consider selling itself.
Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) intends to raise $500 million by selling
10-year-bonds to pay for so-called sustainable projects, including
support programs for farmers in coffee-growing regions.
